With The Old Breed

At the bottom, wedged under a pile of ammo boxes, we saw one of those infernal fifty-five-gallon oil drums of water. Filled, they weighed several hundred pounds. Our NCO rested his arms on the side of the tractor and remarked in an exasperated tone,

“It took a bloody genius of a supply office to do that. How in the hell are we supposed to get that drum outa there?”
